The Burgundy Wine Company

If you're a big fan of Burgundy, Burgundy style (i.e. Oregon), and Rhone wines like I am, you should definitely find your way to the Burgundy Wine Company. Located in New York City, 43 West 26th Street, between 6th and 7th Avenues, they can also be accessed on the web here.

If you live in the area, stop by to check them out for one of their regular wine tastings or just to chat. Their wealth of knowledge is impressive, their selection, even more so. And although their prices are higher than some other stores (it is NYC, after all), their recommendations are impeccable. In fact, they steered me in the direction of one of my favorite white wines to date, the 2006 Domaine Chantemerle Fourchaume Chablis 1er Cru, which I would love to get my hands (or mouth) on again.
